Every project on Build This Project answers the eight questions that actually matter before you start a project:

- What tools do I need?
- What materials do I need?
- What mistakes should I avoid?
- Where do I buy everything?
We believe this is the minimum bar for a project guide worth reading. If a guide can't answer all eight of these questions, it's not ready to publish.

Our Standards
We test projects ourselves or work with contributors who have built what they're writing about. We update guides when products change or when readers identify errors. We're not perfect — but we take accuracy seriously and we fix mistakes when we find them.
